Axsion Digital Evolution (“Axsion”, “we”, “us”) is a technology advisory firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through axsiondigital.com and its subdomains (including assessment.axsiondigital.com and framework.axsiondigital.com), why we collect it, and what we do with it.
The short version: we collect only what we need to understand how the site is used and to follow up with people who ask us to. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for anything you wouldn’t expect.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you complete our technology assessment, book a consultation, subscribe to updates, or contact us, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, company name, role, and your answers to the assessment questions.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we use analytics tools that collect technical and usage data, such as pages visited, time on page, clicks and scrolling, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location (city or region level, based on IP address).
How we use it
We use your information to:
- deliver your assessment results and follow up on them
- respond to your enquiries and schedule consultations
- send you updates or content you’ve signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
- understand how people use the site so we can improve it
We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use the following tools, which set cookies or similar technologies in your browser:
- Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to measure traffic and site usage
- Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages, through aggregated heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity does not record what you type into form fields.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. The site will still work without them.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and our business. They process information on our behalf and only for the purposes described here:
- Vercel: website hosting
- Supabase: storage of assessment submissions
- Kit (ConvertKit): email communications
- Calendly: consultation scheduling
- Google and Microsoft: analytics, as described above
Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we’re legally required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also withdraw your consent to receiving emails at any time. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we work with providers that do the same. No system is completely secure, but we take it seriously.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
